Food details
Our food is distinctive not just for its local flavour but also because it is prepared to suit the palates of our guests. Simple and tasty, you get the best of the cuisine you like–veg or non-veg. And, if you have any musts or no-nos where food is concerned, just let us know in advance and we will take care of it.
We usually serve dinner in the outdoors with a bonfire for fun and warmth. Our guests love all the special care we take to make them happy and comfortable. So, perhaps, you will too. Now, may we offer you our Gold package?
Itinerary
This trek includes accommodation and food for two days (2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 1 Dinner and 2 Snacks). It also includes a trek through the hills and waterfalls visiting for 2 days. You can also visit the banks of the River Bhadra and Sunset Point in your own vehicle.
Day one
Reach our home stay by 7 a.m. Freshen up and have breakfast by 8 a.m. Begin your trek at 9 a.m. in the direction of Kudremukha peak base camp in your 4WD off-road vehicle (either Jeep or pick-up). Our Kudremukha trek starts at 10 a.m. and it usually takes about 4-5 hours to reach the tip of the peak and another 4 hours to return to base camp, making it an 8 hour trek in a day.
Night one
Return to home stay from base camp, freshen up by 6 p.m. and enjoy tea and evening snacks. Dinner follows at 9 p.m. with a bonfire. You will be served your choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian fare, as desired by you. If you’re here in cold weather, our excellent meals and en-suite accommodation will keep you very warm and comfortable.
Day Two
Have breakfast at 8 a.m. and begin your trek to Yalaneeru Waterfalls by 9 a.m. and the Chikmagalur Tea Estate view point by 2 p.m. Return to the home stay by 3.30 p.m. freshen up, enjoy tea/snack and checkout by 6 p.m.
A trek is a wonderful way of not just pursuing your interests but seeing a new place closely and differently. Just imagine taking paths not commonly chosen and chancing upon a wonderful but forgotten temple, a waterfall that gushes forth its own story with its pure white water and the clouds wafting above you as you walk.
