With our homestay as our base camp, situated in a corner of a beautiful green mountain, called Maidadi Hill, the trek involves walking through 100 acres of exclusive, picturesque and private gorges and lush green forests. Make your way past freshwater lakes with wildlife like bison, deer and peacock through dramatic escarpment landscapes and enjoy our Bison Forest or Katikhan as we call it in our traditional language, Tulu.

Situated in Navuru, in Karnataka’s Chikmagalur district, Katikhan stands at a height of 1200 meters. It nestles amid lush greenery and a wonderful scenery. About 8 kms from Kalasa town is our Katikhan Homestay, at the heart of a 100-acre coffee estate, very near Marasanige.
